Things people ask before they start

Does it work on engineers' phones?+

Yes. Engineer Pro runs in the browser on any phone and can be installed to the home screen. Engineers see their own jobs and visits, log photos and receipts, and complete checklists on site.

Can we send emails from our own Microsoft 365 mailbox?+

Yes. An admin can connect a Microsoft 365 mailbox with a normal sign-in, so quotes and reports come from your own domain. Standard SMTP is supported too.

Can we bring in our existing clients?+

Yes. Clients, sites and contacts can be imported from a CSV or Excel file, and most lists can be exported again as CSV.

Who can see what?+

Admin, office and engineer roles each see only what they need. Engineers see their own jobs without job values. Each company works in its own separate workspace.

How does pricing work?+

One plan per company, billed monthly or yearly. Larger plans add extra modules. See the pricing page for the current plans.

Can I see it before I commit?+

Yes. Request a demo and we will walk you through it with your kind of work in mind, or create a workspace and try it yourself.

Do you support gate and barrier engineers?+

Yes. There is an editable Gates & Barriers service checklist and a safety test record for powered gates and barriers — force readings and safety-device checks, with a PDF for the customer. You record the readings and decide what is acceptable under the standard you work to.

Can my team sign in with Google?+

Yes, once it is set up on your platform. An admin switches on Sign in with Google for the company in Settings. People still need a login here, and their verified Google email has to match it.

How is our data kept safe?+

Each company’s data is kept strictly separate. People are signed out automatically after a period of inactivity, two-factor sign-in is available (and can be required per person), and the mailbox and SMTP credentials you connect are stored encrypted.
